As you know, we are all so fortunate to call Daniel Island home. This is a community filled with warm-hearted, giving residents who truly embrace the meaning of this season, which is why we have marked November and December as “Months of Giving” here on Daniel Island.

From now until December 31, 2018, when you make a monetary donation to one of several local non-profits (CLICK HERE for a list of the organizations’ names and links to donate), the Daniel Island Community Fund will match the donations up to $5,000 per non-profit.

And there’s a really easy way to donate to 2 of these non-profits! Proceeds from the sale of the Daniel Island tote bags will go to East Cooper Land Trust and sales from the mugs will go to Lowcountry Orphan Relief.

To buy a bag or mug, stop into the POA office or head to the Daniel Island Holiday Festival on Saturday, December 1, between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm.

These items were designed by Dani Hermann, whom many of you might know from the POA office, and make great gifts (or you can keep them for yourself!).

*NOTE: You do not need to be a Daniel Island resident to donate, so please spread the word and donate today!
